Yet another dance master makes it as hero. Harikumar, following in the footsteps of his seniors like Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram and Lawrence, plays the lead role in the film 'Thoothukudi', the maiden production venture of Sunita Hari.
The female leads are being played by Kartika and Sweta. Scripting and directing the film is Sanjay Ram, a debutant.
Harikumar has choreographed dances for more than a 100 films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, and had the likes of Mammotty, Mohanlal, Dilip, Kunchacke Boban, Nagarjun, Prabhas, Udakiran, Jagapathibabu, Vijayakanth, Prasanna, Shaam, Dhanush and Arun Kumar dancing to his steps.
Harikumar has served as the dance master for many films like Vallarasu, Githan, Bala, Alavudeen and Kasthoorimaan. Now he has changed his profession into an actor. “I had a desire to become an actor right from my childhood, but I became a dance master. I thought this was what life had for me and kept proceeding as a dance master.
I have been the dance master for films in all languages and have done a total of 100 films. It was during this point that director Sanjay Ram.
